Vacations House at Santa Eulália, Vizela
. A vacation house that the Client wanted in a place with family roots, with childhood memories, in a terrain with strong slope orientated to south- west, with terraces, oaks and a watering tank
. The leading route goes up to the old watering tank and it is in this same level that the house grows in 3 low volumes.
. The house spaces – the rooms and the common spaces of the rooms – extend over the garden valuing the experiences in common, in family or with friends.
. The exterior spaces happen between the old tank and the “ground-level balcony” of the rooms, a granite “foot-washing” – also with a playful and aesthetic sense – and the space next to the pool, of dark green small tile for a better integration.
. The master bedroom, in a overlayed volume, opens into the valley and slopes.
. The wood defines the colour and the ambiance – in the ceiling and floor facing as well as in the integrated design of the furniture – and it marks the transition between interior and exterior, ceiling beams and beams in pergolas where creepers can grow.
